Sadie just finished a 4 week run of Theater Works’ Peter Pan. 4 weeks@ 4-5 shows a week. We are still catching our breath. But I got to say, she was great. She played Lunessa a mermaid. At the same time she performed in a Showtime performance of Sleeping Beauty vs. Cinderella where she played the Fairy of Beauty. She worked so hard and we’re very proud of her.

Brad and I just returned from our “reunion” trip to Flint Michigan. I met a lot of aunts and uncles and cousins that I haven’t seen for 35 years. All of my brothers and sisters went, even Steve (he didn’t have to go too far he still lives in Flint.) I was such a great trip I can’t even describe. We went and visited our old homes-stomping grounds and some of our old neighbors still lived there and remembered us. We went to the cemetery and saw our parent’s grave sites. We all learned a lot about our parents and about our lives before. There’s too much to say about this trip.
We finally started landscaping the back yard. Here is a before picture. I hope someday to post an after picture. I also have a step one pic. concrete. ( I have learned that there are many, many, steps to landscaping) I just want to get to the last step and buy some patio furniture.

March was a crazy busy month, Nathan moved to Salt Lake City, Emily and Cason moved and Sadie had two performances at theater works and an audition. Over spring break I drove to Vegas helped Em move then she and I drove to Salt Lake to help Nate move then we drove back to Vegas picked up Cason then came back to Surprise for the rest of the break. But the most important thing to happen over break was we got a new mwmber of the family " Guitar Hero". Everyone else already has one I know , but you can relate to how addictive it can be. Brad's record is 6.5 hours.
I just started this blogging thing Jan '08, so I thought I'd try to do a quick review of 2007.
Ok, I quess it's going to have to be a reveiw in just pics. because I can't figure out how to do both words and pics.
New Year New Blog
Hooray 2008!! 2007 was a great year, but I'm sure 2008 is going to be even better. Ended last year with a bang. Cason and Emily came to visit for 11 days! Brad took off work all that time and we just played. We took a few day trips to Tucson, Tombstone and Bisbee.
